The FOLD collection is made of powder-coated aluminum fronts. This finish is one of the most resistant surfaces we offer and the easiest to maintain. The powder coat forms a protective, hard layer around the aluminum that is much tougher than conventional paint, making it significantly more durable and less prone to scratches and dents.
Daily Cleaning
For daily cleaning, we recommend using a damp, soft cloth. Lukewarm water is usually sufficient, but any mild, regular household detergent can be added if desired. After cleaning, dry the surface with a soft, dry cloth.
Preventive Measures
Though the powder coating is very durable, we advise against the use of acetone, as it may soften the surface, making it brittle. Instead, methylated spirits, turpentine, or white spirits can be used for stubborn stains.
We also advise being careful when handling sharp items around the furniture, as any scratches that do occur are irreversible.
